Carboplast®
Carboplast® thermoplastic composite sheet material represents a revolution in orthotic material technology. Carboplast is easy to mold, light-weight, durable and comes in four rigidities - Flexible, Semi-Rigid, Rigid and X-Rigid. It's produced using high strength carbon and glass fibers in a tough, unique polypropylene matrix. Carboplast allows for deep contour molding using conventional equipment.
Carboplast Rigid Insoles
Carboplast®Rigid Insoles are used to limit plantar and dorsi flexion in cases such as turf toe or hallux rigidus. With three equilateral insoles, footwear can be made rigid without removing the sole. Carboplast insoles can be customized by grinding or heat molding.
Carboplast Sole Bars
Carboplast® Sole Bars are rigid, yet light-weight, and used when motion control is needed. These bars will limit a shoe’s flexion, and are easily heat adjusted.
