Carboplast®
Carboplast Orthotics are “ready-made” foot orthotics that can offer the patient rigid support while remaining light weight and extra thin. These orthotics will not crack, even under severe pressure, and will fit comfortably in all footwear styles. Carboplast orthotics are available with and without metatarsal support and can be heated and remolded for a custom fit.
Carboplast Sole Bars are light-weight, rigid and used when motion control is needed. These bars will limit a shoe's flexion, and can be heat adjusted.
Carboplast Thermoplastic Plates are used to limit motion for conditions such as turf toe or hallux rigidus. With multiple sizes and shapes, different footwear can be made rigid without removing the sole. Carboplast plates are easy to fit and finish and can be customized by grinding or heat molding. They can be heated and reformed by using convection ovens at a temperature of 400° F for 3 - 7 minutes. Carboplast plates come in a variety of shapes to fit directly into existing applications. Carboplast is guaranteed not to crack or lose its shape or material properties after continued use.
