Thermocork® (#8013)

Thermocork composite is heat formable and combines both strength and flexibility. Orthotics made from Thermocork offer patients excellent shock absorption, while maintaining its shape under severe stress. When heated Thermocork adheres easily to other materials. Thermocork can be quickly heat formed directly to a positive model.

Molding Temperature: 200° F
Orthotic Uses: Firm base for total contact orthotics. Often used when a patient’s weight is a factor.

Thermocork® Lite (#8014, #8015)

Thermocork Lite is a light-weight thermoplastic blend that combines cork with EVA for greater flexibility and cushioning. This unique combination makes Thermocork Lite very easy to mold and grind. Thermocork Lite is available in 55 or 65 durometer, and both densities will maintain their shape and context under stress.

Molding Temperature: 300° F
Orthotic Uses: Shock absorbing base for sports orthotics. Also can be combined with Plastazote® to protect your patients with diabetes.

Ortho™ Cork (#8011)

Ortho Cork is a total cork sheet designed to be light-weight and strong. It can be shaped, ground and trimmed. Use Ortho Cork for elevations, shoe inserts and orthotic filler.

Cushion Cork (#8012)

Cushion Cork combines cork and rubber to assure flexibility and durability. Cushion Cork is easy to grind and is a durable base or reinforcement for foot orthotics.
