  1. Aetrex silver/raspberry color tennis shoe

Posted by Sue on 14th Feb 2014

I already had a pair which was fitted by an orthotic shoe shop and they are working great... I love where you can adjust in the heel yourself but I may try a smaller width on my third pair to see if thereid a difference because I have the heel pulled as far asit can go... But the width in the toe is perfect and I have become an Aetrex customer

  2. Love this shoe!

Posted by Unknown on 1st Feb 2014

I have wide feet and can normally tell by looking at the mouth of a "wide" shoe if my foot will be comfortably fit. I was very pleased even before I put this shoe on. My foot went right in and fir wonderfully. They are wide enough and then some! I am beyond pleased with this shoe, and they are the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn!

  3. Finally a shoe with less foot pain.

Posted by Marcia on 7th Aug 2013

I have had two surguries on my foot. Tarsel tunnel and then fibro-neuromas removed from the arch of the foot, along with a bone-spur this year. I have custom orthotics for my shoes but the pain was still there. I would walk on the outer edge of my foot. Not being able to find the right shoe I ordered my Aetrex on line,(doctor has them in his office also). I put my orthotics in and the difference is trully amazing. I can walk with my foot on the ground now. Made a big difference in just a week on how I was walking. Thinking about ordering another pair.

  4. Best runner ever

Posted by Unknown on 10th Jun 2013

This running shoe is the best I have found after trying Brooks, Nike, New Balance types. Very solid but comfortable sole with sleek lines that don't look like you are wearing two blocks of concrete. Heel strap nice added custom feature. I recommend this shoe highly.

  5. Finally Pain Free Footwear

I love the fit and comfort -- finally found a shoe that actually DOES make walking easier and I am experiencing much less discomfort. I like the adjustable heel -- Size was true fit.

  6. Great shoe

l like that the heal is adjustable. lf l ever need to wear my AFO's this might be a real handy feature. As a CMT patient, l have sensitive and special feet. l have only worn them a total of about 10 hours so far. They are working out well, needed to not lace the top hole in shoes to allow for movement in the ankle. Size is true to fit for me.

  7. Post-op miracle shoes

Posted by Julianna on 1st Feb 2013

It's been a year since I seriously injured my leg/ankle/foot, requiring four different orthopedic surgeries, with the most recent on 12/20/2012. This is the first pair of shoes I've found that are comfortable, supportive, and that can accommodate swelling and such. I have worn them every day since I got them and I hate to taking them off in the evening. Yes, they are THAT comfortable. In addition to my injury, I also have plantar fasciitis, and these shoes have eliminated all the pain normally associated with PF. My physical therapist was curious about these shoes and gave them a good look over, commenting that these are exactly the kind of shoes he'd recommend for me. My only complaint is that I am not crazy about the color, specifically the shiny silvery part. I'd rather have something that isn't shiny or that is leather. I feel like this shiny-plasticky looking material makes the shoes look cheap(er).

  8. Finally, shoes that are easy to put on over my AFO'S.

Posted by Linda Westmoreland on 31st Jan 2013

I've only worn my shoes for short periods, but it seems they are working great for me. I love the opening in the back with the Velcro strap, I don't even need a shoe horn to put them on or take them off. The only thing I would want to accommodate my curled big toe, is more soft padding over the big toe instead of the hard leather which ends up rubbing against my toe. I don't know if that's even an option, but I always need a toe cover because I end up with a sore where the shoe meets the toe.

  9. Best athletic running shoe ever.

Posted by Julyan on 24th Jan 2013

I ordered the extra wide version of this shoe and I absolutely love the fact that you can tighten the heel fitting with the Velcro strap attached to the heel. Giving the heel a nice snug fitting without any heel slippage. The shoe also stabilizes my foot beautifully. I shall order this shoe again.
