Best athletic shoe I have ever worn!
Posted by Bonnie on 26th May 2014
Two years ago I broke my foot after I healed enough to go back to shoes my Dr recommended a low or no motion shoe for me to teach PE in. I found Aetrex locally and fell in love. It fit better than any other shoe - of any cost - that I had worn. The ability to adjust the ankle fit is the key to best fit for me. Then the no motion keeps me stable with no roll over at he ankle or foot. I coudn't continue to be on my feet 7 days aweek working with people with disabilties without this shoe
very comfortable and fits to your heels well

Thsi is my first pair of Aetrex shoes. Love them, room for my toes, form fitting for the heel with the lockdown strap. Good support.
Great athletic shoe

I'm 84 years old. My feet hurt. My hammertoes and callouses and sensitive pressure points are always aggravated from the shoes and sneakers I've worn. My three grandchildren keep me plenty on the move. My son forces me to go out and look for decent footwear that will be kind to my feet.
Just looking for the right style and the right fit makes my feet hurt even more.
So,he researched many different "ortho" type shoes and the web and he said, "Mom, Aetrex shoes are well-rated and they look really nice.
We took a chance, ordered them and they fit and my feet are cushioned and my heel doesn't slip out. The soft mesh and roomy toe box is gentle on my toes. I love the lace and velcro heal strap combination - - really handy when I'm in a rush. Just slip on with laces tied and then I velcro heal in place.
They look so great. The design is very tasteful and not over the top with crazy colors.
Thank you Aetrex for this fine pair of sport footwear.

This was my third pair of the Edge, just a different color. I have many pairs of sneakers, some quite expensive, but these are the best by far. Nothing on my feet bothers me at all when I wear them. The back strap comes in handy when I want to save time when changing. They accommodate my orthotics perfectly.

Crazy story....I researched shoes a few weeks back for my "supination" issue I have with my feet (I roll my ankle) These were rated #1 for this problem. I also have CMT (the root of the problem for my feet issues), and came across on the CMT association website, that Aetrex teams up with CMTA for their shoes. By signing up for a premium membership with CMTA, I was able to get a pair of Aetrex shoes for FREE!!! What timing!! and what an increbible thing for Aetrez to do. They have my utmost respect. The shoes fit amazing. Locked in my feet without even having to put my orthotics in!!! I will be purchasing more. Thank you so much!

Amazing shoes for people with CMT

I have suffered from CMT most of my life and it is a pain to go shopping for shoes because I always wind up settling for a shoe that hurts but doesn't hurt as much as the others. I've had 9 surgeries and hate wearing my leg brace because it ruins my shoes. I decided to try these shoes and they are amazing! I wore them the first day and didn't have any pain, which hasn't happened in a very long time. I stand all the time as a teacher and I am ordering more!
Great if you have an Achilles problem

These shoes have been miraculous for me. I had Achilles tendonosis, a partial tear, and Achilles surgery a few years ago. These are the ONLY athletic shoes that do not put pressure on the affected area. Without them, I could not exercise. I am buying a new pair because my first pair, which has withstood about 18 months of frequent, vigorous exercise, is finally ready to be replaced.
