I discovered Aetrex 6 years

"I discovered Aetrex 6 years ago after an Achilles heal surgery. Fast forward 5 years when my podiatrist recommended that I purchase wide shoes for my calluses and bunions. Wide shoes are extremely hard to find since I wear a size 35 (kids 4. ) I can wear a women's size 5 (W) with the thickest insole, but recently discovered I can put the thin soles in my size 35 and have plenty of room in the toe box, since most kids' shoes are a little wider anyway. I have 4 pairs of Aetrex, varying amounts of 'cushion. ' A day doesn't go buy when I don't recommend these insoles to someone!!"

I thought they were weird

"I thought they were weird at first. I had to buy a different version because you were out of my normal inserts, but I like the new ones. I do wish you would offer a discount coupon."

Kristyn C. (4/5)

Really good arch support, although

"Really good arch support, although a thinner insole, you will need some volume available in the front of your shoes/boots for these to work. If not available, their 3/4 insoles work great as well."

Love the thinsoles!

"Love the thinsoles! I tried them about 3-4 years ago and it's all I use now. I've got a few pair and use them in my running shoes, winter boots and work shoes. With my running shoes, I've places them over my insoles and i've also replaces the insoles with the thinsoles, either way it works! I will continue getting these till they are no more."

These insoles are a total

"These insoles are a total game-changer! I’ve struggled with arch pain and plantar fasciitis for years, and after trying countless insoles, the Aetrex Men's Premium Memory Foam Flat/Low Arch W/ Metatarsal Support is the first one that delivered real relief. The arch support is subtle but incredibly effective, and the metatarsal support makes a noticeable difference in reducing forefoot pressure. The memory foam cushioning is plush without being bulky, offering a perfect balance of comfort and support throughout the day. They fit true to size and width, and I didn’t have to trim or adjust anything—just slipped them into my shoes and felt immediate comfort. I’ve worn them for everything from long workdays to casual walks, and they’ve held up great. If you’re dealing with arch pain or plantar fasciitis and need something designed for a flat or low arch, these are absolutely worth it."

Thinsoles

"I have a few pair of Skechers shoes where I am unable to remove in the insole to insert an arch support. They wouldn't accept a regular arch support due to their thickness. These thinsoles are perfect for these shoes, which enable me to get the support I need. I think I read these thinsoles are going to be discontinued. I certainly hope not, as I am thankful to have found them for my particular needs."

Wendy L. (5/5)

Thanks!

"I got these thinsoles for my wife. The regular insoles are too thick for her high top feet. These work well and help her feet to be more comfortable."

Allen T. (5/5)

Love that they are thin

"Love that they are thin enough to fit in my shoes without making them feel too tight."

Q&A

Can you tell me what a the heel-to-toe offset is for the insoles? I am especially interested in the thin soles with the metatarsal pad. But I imagine that the offset is the same with all of your insoles. Please let me know.
Hi Jane, The heel-to-toe offset for Aetrex orthotics measures approximately 4.2mm.
can you still use L1305 with almost flat feet? The medium thickness is too thick to fit into my shoes. I currently have L425. Thank you very much
Hi Gretchen, Orthotics that end in 05, like the L1305, are designed for medium to high arches and may not provide the support needed for users with low arches/flat feet. Instead, we recommend looking at the L1320 does not have metatarsal support but is designed for low arches/flat feet.
Is there a Thinsoles product that has both the metatarsal support and a posted heel? I need both. I have several of your other orthotics for athletics that have both metatarsal support and a posted heel (for my flat feet). I need a thinner product for my lace-up boots. Thanks.
Hi Susan, Regrettably, Aetrex Thinsoles with a posted heel do not come with metatarsal support. We recommend looking at the L525 which has an overall thickness of 0.18' and is the thinnest Orthotics with the exception of Thinsoles and Fashion Orthotics, but features both posted heels and metatarsal support. https://www.aetrex.com/dress-orthotics-l525w-orthotics-L525W.html
What is the best orthotics for knee pain
Hi Jo, Each pair of Aetrex orthotics features the signature Aetrex arch support which is designed to be a little higher up and a little further back compared to the typical arch support in other brands. This provides better stabilization and supports natural realignment, which helps relieve pain the lower back, hips, and knees, as well as common foot pains. Aetrex orthotics also come in a variety of styles and configurations. For instance, we recommend the Compete Orthotics below for use during everyday errands and more vigorous activities like hiking. https://www.aetrex.com/search?q=compete+orthotics&search-button=&lang=en_US For your reference, orthotics that end in 05 and 00 are designed to support medium to high arches, while the ones that end in 25 and 20 support low arches to flat feet. In addition, 05 and 25 orthotics feature metatarsal support for weight redistribution to help relieve ball-of-foot pain or discomfort.
I wear 7 1/2. What size insole L1305 should I order? Size 6/7 or 7/8?
Hi Emi, We recommend sizing down for orthotics if you’re in between sizes.
