"The fit at the ankle isn just not right. I have relatively wide ankles, and yet the strap is so long and the velcro seemingly misplaced to that when I close the strap it is simply too long. I tried to attach additional velcro on the inside of the strap so that I could still wear the shoe, but then of course I have to pull the strap so far around that it looks terrible. I am typically a big fan of aetrex shoes, but was very disappointed that these were such a dud. It seems like this issue should have been caught in R&D?"

"As a size 9, with only an option of 9-9. 5, these are a bit big but the 8-8. 5 are too small. I would give a rave review if these fit correctly, but they are a tad too big. I have to tighten the heel strap past its normal range to make them work"

"I wanted to love these sooo much! I absolutely love the style of these thong sandals with the flowers and the thin straps that are actually long enough to fit around my fat ankles better than my other Marni sandals, whether I’m swollen or not! But the foot bed is horrible! It’s nothing like the other thong sandals I have from Aetrex! (The Marni ones). These have weird grooves that stand out on them like they’re embossed, and they hurt my feet, specifically my arch area! The arches in these seem like it’s off (like it’s not placed in the correct spot) and just way too high and curved so it pushes into my arch in the wrong way causing a severe burning pain that feels like my tendons and nerves are being torn apart! When I first tried them on they felt fine which is why I kept them, but after wearing them out, not even 30 minutes into wearing them the pain was so severe I had to take them off and be barefoot till I got back home! I seriously think these shoes caused more damage to my arches, triggering planter fasciitis, as now the pain is still there days later, and I can’t find any relief! It hurts to walk now thanks to these poorly made thongs. I’m devastated about them cause they do look so pretty, but the pain isn’t worth it! I wish they made this style but with the foot bed that the Marni sandals have. Those are far more comfortable. Sadly I’m now stuck with these and I actually bought 2 of them (the black and the white) so I’m so upset I spent so much on them just to be in dyer pain from it. I wish I could get a refund! I regret keeping them."

"Love the comfort of these! My only complaint is there isn't enough velcro on the back strap. I need to snug them up and I am almost out of room on the velcro. I'm hoping they don't give out as I love wearing them. This could easily been avoided by adding more velcro all along the strap."
