I use 1/2 size up which seems to work better and use them in my Hoka running shoes instead of the standard insert that comes with the shoes. My only complaint is I wish Aetrex would print the name and number on the actual insert to make reordering easier."

However, we suggest fitting the inserts in the shoes before trimming because, more often than not, they would fit comfortably in your shoes without making any alterations. In addition, trimming the orthotics will also void the warranty, so please ensure that the measurements are exact if it needs to be done.
