THE LIE WE'VE ALL BELIEVED
It's not what you've been telling yourself.
Years of standing, walking, working. A culture that says you just deal with pain. A footwear industry that sold you "comfort" and delivered familiar. The story you've been told is wrong. Foot pain isn't a job, an age, or a phase. It's a mechanical problem. And mechanical problems have answers.
WHAT WE TELL OURSELVES
"My feet hurt because I'm on them all day"
"Twelve hour shifts. What do you expect?"
"I've been doing this for twenty years. Of course they hurt."
"It's just what happens to your body"
The pain has a name. And an answer.
Heel & Arch Pain
A deep ache in your heel or the bottom of your foot that builds throughout the day.
Ball-of-Foot Pain
A burning or aching feeling in the padded area just behind your toes after time on your feet.
Morton's Neuroma
A burning or shooting pain between your toes that feels like you're standing on a pebble.
Not sure what you have?
Tell us where it hurts and we'll point you in the right direction.
THE ACTUAL REASON
For most of human history, your feet sank into the ground with every step. Now they slam into concrete
The pain you've been told to live with isn't aging. It's a mismatch
We build what the ground used to give you.
For over fifty years, Aetrex has studied how feet move and what they need from the surface beneath them. Our orthotics and footwear are designed to do what hard floors can't.

Real Women, Real Feet
THE 60-SECOND FOOT ASSESSMENT
Four questions. A real answer.
Tell us where it hurts, what your day looks like, and what you've tried. We'll show you exactly what your feet need — and what they don't.
The honest questions
I've tried other comfort shoes and orthotics. Why would Aetrex be different?
Most off-the-shelf insoles are flat or generically curved. They cushion. They don't correct. Our
orthotics are built around 50 years of foot biomechanics research — the arch sits where your foot
actually loads, the cushioning targets impact zones, and the materials hold up under daily use. If
you've tried "comfort" and felt let down, you've been buying the wrong category.
Do I need to see a podiatrist first?
Not for most pain. The assessment can usually identify what's going on and what to do about it. If your answers suggest something more serious — sharp localized pain, numbness, post-surgical recovery, diabetic complications — the assessment will tell you so directly and recommend a clinical visit before any product purchase.
How long until I notice a difference?
Most customers report meaningful changes within 2-3 weeks of consistent wear. Foot biomechanics adjust gradually — the first week can feel different as your alignment shifts. If you're not feeling improvement by week 4, our guarantee covers a full return.
Are these covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?
Aetrex orthotics are HSA and FSA eligible. Most plans accept them as a qualified medical expense —your assessment results page will include documentation you can submit. Insurance coverage varies by plan; we recommend confirming with your provider before purchase.
