Supporting the Next Generation of Athletes
As the Official Foot Scanning Technology and Athletic Insole Partner of IMG Academy, Aetrex is bringing 3D foot scanning technology and personalized orthotic support to student-athletes at IMG Academy’s world-renowned campus in Bradenton, Florida.
Together, Aetrex and IMG Academy are helping athletes better understand their unique feet—and giving them the tools and support to train, compete, and perform at their best.
Performance Starts From the Ground Up
Each athlete is unique—and every sport demands different movements. Understanding these differences can help optimize comfort, movement, and performance.
By scanning all 1,600 student-athletes with the Aetrex Albert Pro 3D Foot Scanner, we captured detailed insights into their foot shape, 3D measurements, and underfoot pressure to help inform personalized footwear and orthotic recommendations.
Every student-athlete on campus also received a pair of Aetrex Orthotics custom selected based on their individual foot profile to provide personalized support throughout training and competition.
Advanced Technology. Personalized Insights.
The Albert Pro 3D Foot Scanner helps provide a deeper understanding of each athlete’s feet through advanced scanning technology.
In seconds, the technology can capture valuable information about the feet, including:
- 3D foot measurements
- Arch type and arch height
- Pressure distribution underfoot
- Foot size and shape
- Movement and gait insights
These insights help create a more personalized approach to footwear and orthotic recommendations, giving athletes support based on the unique characteristics of their feet.
Built Into the IMG Academy Experience
Aetrex technology is integrated throughout the IMG Academy campus with scanners in the retail store and in PT rooms, allowing student-athletes to have continued access to foot insights and personalized support throughout their athletic journey at school.
By educating athletes about foot health early, Aetrex and IMG Academy are helping them understand how their feet impact comfort, movement, and long-term wellness.
A Personalized Approach to Performance
IMG Academy takes an individualized approach to developing student-athletes, combining coaching, academics, sports medicine, nutrition, mental performance, recovery, and performance innovation.
Aetrex technology and orthotics add another layer to that experience by helping athletes better understand one of the most important foundations of movement: their feet.
Together, Aetrex and IMG Academy are helping the next generation of athletes understand their feet, optimize their foundation, and perform with confidence—both on and off the field.
