"I wore these shoes all summer, then ordered them in the remaining two colors. So pretty with a pair of flowy pants. My feet measure as a size 6. 5, but I prefer to size up to a 7. 0 to accomodate my wide feet and bunion. Sizing up can sometimes make it so the shoe arch doesn’t align with the foot arch, but this was not an issue for me in these shoes. Love them!"

How do I clean and "polish" these sandals?: Hi Lynn, We recommend spot-cleaning the sandals with clear, mild soap and a damp cloth, and air drying naturally. It is important that you do not wash or dry them in a machine as this would compromise the integrity of the materials. If any odor is present, sprinkle a small amount of baking soda onto the footbed at the end of your day to soak up the sweat and tap out the powder the next morning. Since the straps of the Paula are made of genuine leather, you can use polish that's specifically designed for leather products. Test the product by putting a small amount on an inconspicuous area and observe for any changes overnight.

I understand the appeal of the adjustability but wonder about the durability of the Velcro closures....With daily or frequent wear how are they holding up?: Hi Karen, All adjustable Aetrex sandals have Velcro straps and they've proven to be durable. We do recommend brushing the straps regularly to remove dirt and lint that might be stuck in them.
