"I bought a pair of these about 15 years ago in my local mall and they were worn in a pair of dress boots. Eventually my bunion got too bad to wear the boots so the insert was forgotten about. I recently started walking 3 miles a day and needed walking shoes that would accommodate my bunion without sacrificing comfort. Well, that doesn’t really exist. I paid $100 for a sneaker but the insole was rubbish. I remembered the insole I’d worn with my old boots and was shocked when I put them in, as the sneakers were a larger toe box than anything I’d ever owned. Happy with them to the point of searching online for an identical pair. I learned that the bottom of these are marked with their number so I was able to locate the seller and ordered from Aetrexs website. The new ones are just as great as the old pair, same feel and thickness. I wish I would have purchased more when they were $10 off, because all my shoes need these!"

- My foot measures 9.5", I am normally a size 7.5. Your website only offers a 7 or a 9 for the L205. Am I ok ordering the size 7 because no size 9 is offered. Amy

- I started out wearing doctor recommended New Balance L405 until they were discontinued and found out you actually made them, now I have been wearing your 405 but recently discovered the arch just doesn't seem to provide enough support and I'm having to replace every 3 months. Am thinking I need to change but don't know which one to try. I've even considered the one for diabetics because of the cork bottom. Can't find a retailer to actually go and try the different ones on. I live north of Atlanta. Do you have a recommendation on an insole or a retailer

If you feel like you may need firmer orthotics, we encourage you to try the Conform ones. However, it is also possible that your foot structure has undergone some changes which is why you're no longer getting the same support from the same orthotics. - Hi Elizabeth, Aetrex orthotics only come in medium width. We suggest trying men's orthotics one size smaller that your regular size since men's sizes are slightly wider.
- I need an insole with the support behind the toe area. Don't need arch support. What is the best for me?
- Hi Joan, Depending on your arch type we recommend orthotics that end in 05 that support medium to high arches, or those that end in 25 that are designed for low arches and flat feet; these orthotics feature metatarsal support which help relieve ball-of-foot pain or discomfort. - Hi--I have unknowingly used your insoles for years by purchasing them from New Balance. When they switched to a new supplier, I drove around and bought up every insole i could find and have been using those and have now worn through all those! Recently while shopping at a New Balance store I mentioned that i couldn't find an insole that i like as much as their old models, she was nice enough to tell me about your website and how Aetrex was their old supplier. I am so happy to find you but can't determine which insole it was. The model i used to purchase from New Balance was NB1205. whould you be able to figure out which insole that was?
