"I had been fitted with the L805 at a shoe store and it seemed wonderful so I ordered another pair direct from aetrex for my Brooks GTS 21 shoes I use for walking. Then I began having heel pain in one foot so I’m not sure if it’s the orthotic ? - Would these be good for my high school daughter playing volleyball?

- This will be used in my new balance shoes. I am going to do a 120 k walk across 8 consecutive days. I went 1 size then my regular shoe size of 8 1/2. Should the size of the orthodic fit my foot size or the shoe size I will be using?

- Hi Kelly, Aetrex orthotics are constructed in a width that's considered between a medium and wide. However, we recommend getting the men's size if you prefer wider width. The men's size is slightly wider than the women's.
