Q&A

How long does the L820 Train usually last & is it good for walking 5 miles without pain?
Hi Paulette, The L820 Train Orthotics typically last about 6 to 9 months, depending on how often they’re used. They are designed to provide excellent comfort and support, making them a good option for walking long distances, such as 5 miles, without pain. You may need to replace them once the support starts to feel less firm.
How long do they last
Hi Wendy, On average, we recommend our customers change their orthotics every 6 to 9 months or longer depending on how frequently they are being used. A great way to determine when to change your orthotics is when the support does not feel as strong as it used to.
I have high arches and my knees don't line up over my knees. Also have plantar fasciitis. Is the L820 the right one
Hi Rhonda, Given your arch type, we recommend orthotics that end in 00 or 05 (with metatarsal support to help relieve ball-of-foot stress) which support medium to high arches, such as the L800 or L805. In addition, all Aetrex orthotics feature the signature Aetrex arch support that helps with foot alignment and the relief of common foot pains, including plantar fasciitis. https://www.aetrex.com/search?q=women%27s+train+orthotics&prefn1=shoe-features&prefv1=Cupped+Heel
If I am an 8 1/2 size sneaker what size should I order? A size 9?
Hi Laura, We recommend sizing down in orthotics, in this case, to a size 8US.
Es recomendable para espuelas en el talón
Hi Sonia, The Women's Train Orthotics features slow-recovery memory foam that cushions your heel and can help reduce pain from the heel spurs. We also recommend looking at a slightly thicker style, the L2320 Premium Memory Foam, which measures 0.25' thick compared to the L820's 0.2165', and uses IQ150 memory foam in its center layer for superior cushioning. https://www.aetrex.com/women-s-premium-memory-foam-flat-low-arch-orthotics-L2320W.html
