How do returns work when I use Afterpay to make a purchase?

With our Healthy Guarantee, a customer is able to wear the shoes or Aetrex Orthotics for up to 30 days (from the date of delivery) and if not completely satisfied, the customer can return them.

Returns are free and simple to do, even when using Afterpay as a payment! To get started, simply visit our return center page (https://returns.aetrex.com) and follow the straightforward steps to initiate your return. If you need detailed step-by-step instructions, please visit our FAQ page for further guidance.
The refund will be processed to the original form of payment and should reflect in your account within 5 to 7 days from the day of the drop-off. Shipping charges from the original order cannot be refunded.

Does Afterpay do a credit check and will it affect my credit score?

Afterpay may conduct a soft credit check for new customers when they first sign-up to use the platform.  This soft credit check will not impact a customer’s credit score. 

Soft credit checks (also known as soft pulls or soft inquiries) are very common and will not affect credit scores, will not be visible to other lenders or creditors and may or may not be recorded in credit reports, depending on the credit bureau.  

How does the payment schedule work?

All customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your schedule pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account. 

 You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so. 

How do I use Afterpay?

Simply shop online and add items to your shopping bag and checkout as normal. At the checkout choose Afterpay as your payment method. First-time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details, as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase. It's that easy!

Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in 4 payments made every 2 weeks without any interest. 

What is Affirm?

Affirm offers instant financing for your Aetrex.com purchases to be paid in 3 fixed monthly payments with 0% APR. Our customers will be prequalified in minutes and the first payment will not be due until 30 days from the order date. Simply select “Affirm Monthly Payments” during checkout.  

IE: An order of a $150 purchase may cost $50.00 per month for 3 months at 0% APR

How does the Affirm check out process work?

At the checkout page on Aetrex.com, choose the Pay with Affirm option.

  1. Affirm will ask for information including name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and the last four digits of the social security number.
  2. Affirm sends a text message to the customer’s cell phone with a unique authorization code to confirm the customer’s identity.
  3. The authorization code will need to be added to the application form.

After the purchase is made, Affirm will send monthly emails and text message reminders about upcoming payments. Customers may set up auto pay to avoid missing a payment. The first Affirm payment will be due 30 days from the order date on Aetrex.com.

Does Affirm do a credit check and will it affect my credit score?

Affirm will do a “soft” credit check in order to verify the customer’s identity.  The customer’s credit score will not be affected when applying for an Affirm loan.  After the loan is confirmed, the loan information will be sent to the credit bureau. If the customer does not make a scheduled payment, the customer’s credit score will be impacted.  Affirm strives to offer financing to all applicants but does have the right to deny consumers.

What are Affirm’s rates and fees?

Affirm offers a 3 month payment plan with 0% APR for Aetrex.com customers.

How do I make payments with Affirm?

Before each payment is due, Affirm will send an email or text message reminder with the date and amount that is due. The customer is responsible for paying the Affirm loans.

  1. Go to www.Affirm.com/account
  2. Enter the cell phone number. Affirm will send a personalized security pin code to the customer’s cell phone via text message.
  3. Enter this security pin into the form and click sign in.
  4. After signs in, a list of loans will appear with payments that are approaching. Click on the appropriate loan payment.
  5. Make a payment using a debit card or ACH bank transfer.

How can I make a change to my order after it has been placed?

Our goal is to get your order shipped as soon as possible. We recommend that if you need to change or cancel your order, you do so immediately by calling our support team at 888-526-2739.

Depending on the status of your order you may not be able to make any changes.

Can I purchase a gift card?

We currently do not sell gift cards. 

What payment methods do you accept?

Aetrex.com accepts all major credit cards, debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover) Paypal, Shop Pay, G Pay, After Pay, Affirm Pay Over Time.

We do not accept use of International Credit Cards, medical reimbursement cards or prepaid gift cards.

Is it safe to use my credit card on aetrex.com?

Aetrex wants their customers to be able to shop with confidence and no one should shop from a company that doesn’t follow secure data practices. Personal information collected from aetrex.com is stored in secure operating environments not accessible to the public.

To maintain a secure shopping experience upon completion of a transaction, the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software encrypts the information you enter. 

Payment information is then stored outside of aetrex.com and saved in a database on authortize.net, a leading payment gateway service provider.

To further protect aetrex.com from any malicious attacks, the site has a real-time scanner configured to detect any unidentified files on our website and the site has additional security using a Website Application Firewall. 

While the team at Aetrex tries their best to safeguard your personal information, no transmission of data over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. 

Why do I see a $1.00 charge when I pay with PayPal?

A $1.00 fee may appear on your order when selecting to checkout with PayPal as their mandatory payment authorization process. Once PayPal authorizes the payment information, the $1.00 fee is removed as a pending charge from your debit/credit card.

Return Process for Customers Outside of the United States

Wear your Aetrex shoes or orthotics for up to 30 days from the date your order was received, and if they are not the perfect fit for you, just send them back to us.

*International return shipping costs vary by country and carrier and typically start at approximately $20 USD.

Here's how to get the return process going:

1.    Visit https://web.global-e.com/Returns/Portal/mZnr and enter your order number along with your email address. Click on "Next" 

2.    Choose the product you wish to return and select the QTY (Quantity) and reason for the return. Click “Next”

3.    Select return method

4.    Click the “Print Return Label” to download the return label and follow the instruction. 

How do I return an order?

Wear your Aetrex shoes or orthotics for up to 30 days from the date your order was received, and if they are not the perfect fit for you, just send them back to us.

 *A return fee of $5.95 will be automatically deducted when processing all U.S. returns

 Here's how to get the return process going:

1. Visit returns.aetrex.com and enter your order number along with your zip code or email address. Click on "Find Your Order." 

2. Choose the product you wish to return and select the reason for the return. Click "Next."

3. Opt for "Refund to Original Payment Method."

4. There are two available methods for returning the item:

  1) Return with Happy Return: This method involves utilizing the QR solution. Notably, you will not require a printer for this process. Furthermore, there is no need to place the item inside a shipping box or affix any labels. We highly recommend to put in its original shoe box. Please show the QR code to the store associate at Office Depot or other partner stores that's convenient for you.

  2) Return with Prepaid Return Label:  This approach employs the prepaid return label solution. Customers opting for this method will need to print the provided PDF label upon completion. After securely packaging the item/s within a shipping box, they should attach the printed label and subsequently drop off the package at any USPS location.

5. After reviewing that all information is correct, submit your return request.

1) Return with Happy Return: If you have chosen the QR code solution (Happy Return), you will promptly receive an email containing the QR code, accompanied by comprehensive instructions. In case this email is misplaced, you can conveniently revisit the return center.

 2) Return with Prepaid Return Label: If you have selected the prepaid return label option, you will receive an email inclusive of the return label, along with detailed instructions. In scenarios where this email is misplaced, customers are encouraged to return to the return center.

6. Now, either print your label or have your QR code ready and proceed to drop off your package at the designated store.

Shipping charges from the original order are non refundable.

For our valued Canadian Customers:

Canadian orders will exhibit a status of "Waiting for Approval." In such cases, the Customer Service (CS) team will need to manually issue the shipping label.
