I have total foot arthritis
"I have total foot arthritis and do need arch support + overall shoe support. I do NOT like squishy shoes like FitFlops or Tevas. But I'm thinking Aetrex shoes are mostly for people with really high arches because the arch in these is over-the-top. Plus very far forward which would be OK if they weren't so high and hard. I do like these shoes - nice style, materials and color - and kept them hoping that eventually I'd get used to them or they would mold to my foot somewhat. I have to wear something, after all and I'm finding it increasingly hard to find anything I can tolerate."

"The comfort and fit is great and I like the style of the shoe. However, after purchasing these this past summer, the color or coating is already rubbing off/flaking off in the front-facing part below my toes (that people see), and the material directly underneath my foot, on the right shoe, is rolling off and is irritating. I wish the material held up better."
I have higher arches than
"I have higher arches than these shoes and the shoes already have high arch support. I ended up keeping these shoes because they are really cute and comfortable. The things that annoy me is the fact that it actually doesn’t have a real buckle and it’s Velcro and I am not a fan of how it sounds when you walk you can hear the Velcro crinkling. It sounds really cheap even though these are really nice shoes. I would hope that one day they’d go back to buckles."

"Love these shoes! Took them straight out of the box to Mexico City and used them the entire time. Mexico City is a lot of walking and they were the best -especially those of us that have plantar fasciitis and heel issues. Great arch support and looked great with everything I wore. More colors!"

- Hi Judy, We're sorry to hear the sandal was not a good fit. Aetrex shoes and sandals are constructed in a width that's considered between medium and wide; we do not carry narrow-width options at this time.
