"Really nice shoe, well-made and comfortable EXCEPT toe area is too narrow. I ordered a size up to accommodate but then the toe box was still tight and the shoe slipped in the heel. I tried adding orthotics but that didn’t really help. I was sad to return because I like the look and feel of the shoe, but they really don’t fit my wide foot well."

"I have enjoyed these loafers for casual dress. I found them stiff at first and more narrow across the toe box than my other Aetrex shoes and they rubbed a sore on my heel, but once I got them broken in, I’ve been able to wear them comfortably. I do feel a larger size would have been too large, so I do not feel size was the issue. I have many pairs of Aetrex and find them very comfortable and of quality."

"Good arch support for high arches. Could be more cushioned but I am used to wearing hokas to work. Bit of padded heel would be nice. Look nice and lightweight. Would love these with more of a rounded toe and bit of platform height for a trendier look. Ordered the Pewter loafers after getting these."

- would these be good for a wide forefoot?
- Hi Bren, The Collette Loafers have a leather upper and may not offer a lot of flexibility at the forefoot area. But we encourage you to try them as that is still the best way to determine fit. In the event they aren’t to your satisfaction, you may return the loafers within 30 days of the purchase date provided they were not marked final sale at the time the order was placed.
