"I love my new Frankie boots! I wear a 39 in Aetrex sandals, but usually order a 40 in boots, and that worked great with the Frankie. From other reviews, I was worried they would be too narrow, or too tight on my instep (a problem I've had with other boots), but they are very comfortable. I like that I can slide my foot in. I was also worried the heel would be high for me, but that, too, is comfortable. The brown also has a nice rugged look which is exactly what I wanted. Now I am thinking about the black!"

- Hi - I just bought these boots in my regular 39, and they're super narrow and tight across the middle of my foot. The "mouth" of the boot is also narrow and difficult to put my foot into. Would getting the size up fix those issues? The length of the shoe is fine.
- Hi Clare, Depending on the style and/or materials, some shoes may take some time to break into. However, if that does not happen in a week or so, we recommend going one size bigger.

- I just purchased the Frankie boot in an 8.5 (EU 39). I have boots by Bos. & Co. Women's Madrid Boot that are EU 38 and fit great. My Aetrex boot feels a little big, will the 7.5-8 be too small?
- Hi Beth, We recommend getting the Frankie boots in size 38 EU. If there are issues with fit, the Aetrex 30-day wear test allows you to try the footwear and return it for a refund or replacement within 30 days from the purchase date.
- I got a pair for Christmas. They are my size but because I have high arches I can't get them on my feet. Should I go up a size?
