I got these because I
"I got these because I needed a waterproof sandal with a slight heel to wear to theme parks this summer. I don't like tevas and find them uncomfortable, but these were perfect. I wore them on the treadmill for a few miles to be sure they would last the long, sweaty walks thru Universal parks in FL and found that there is a little bit of grab over the top of the foot. I attached some moleskin strips to the spots that might rub and had no problems whatsoever. I wore them for 3 days in a row clocking 25k steps each day and my feel were tired at the end of the day, but not sore or achy at all. These are now my summer go-to casual sandals for when I know I will be facing potentially wet conditions in the summer heat. They are a little industrial looking, but cute enough to wear with shorts and skorts. The top cross strap helped keep them from moving around and held them in place securely."

I want to love them
"If this review was solely based on comfort it would be 5 stars however the quality and durability bring the review down to 1 star. I’ve had these shoes longer than 30 days otherwise I’d return. I didn’t start wearing them when I received them. I’ve worn them a total of 5 times, they have never been wet and they have started to peel. So to me they are definitely not worth the cost. There are other comfort brands out there."

They look great and are
"They look great and are well made of quality materials. Unfortunately, I can't wear them because the strap that crosses over the foot from ankle to toe is very loose and not adjustable. It is attached separate from the two adjustable straps."

Very cute but caused blisters
"I love Aetrex and have purchased many shoes from this brand with great success. This is my first time to be disappointed as I have blisters on the insides of both feet where the plastic strap guide is located after wearing them for only 15 minutes. The shoes are very cute and comfortable otherwise, but I won’t be able to wear these without bandaids."

I really like this sandal!!
"I really like this sandal!! It seems to have good arch support!! I’ve noticed some of the newer sandals don’t have adjustable straps and the quality of the insole is not as good!! It makes me sad since I love Aetrex shoes and insoles‼️🙁"

Wanted to feel like Whit… does not
"I love the Whit sandal so much, I expected the Marz to be as comfy. However, the straps rub- on the heel and other parts of my foot. Hoping they will “break in” and stop rubbing. I was absolutely not expecting this!"

Great substitute for a sneaker!
"These shoes are wonderful for your weekend outings! They provide excellent arch support and can be easily adjusted for a wider foot or bunion, making them super comfortable. I love wearing mine on long walks with my dogs—that's always a special time. Plus, they're perfect for those days when you might unexpectedly get caught in the rain. They're truly versatile and reliable!"

Best shoes I have found
"Best shoes I have found for comfort and style for the Summer! It’s so hard to find a shoe that is stylish and still look trendy! I have had multiple foot surgeries from an accident and these shoes are fabulous on my foot!"

Disappointed that I can’t tighten
"Disappointed that I can’t tighten this as much as I need for my foot. Please make adjustable down to a more narrow foot."

I bought these for my
"I bought these for my trip to England where I would be walking and touring and it would be hot. I had them for a few weeks and wore them around town and for errands. At first I felt fairly high off the ground and unstable, but then started getting use to them. I get to England and sadly, they were horrible on unstable pavement and cobblestones. I felt the cushioning caused me to be very wobbly. But really is anything good in those surfaces? I walked so slowly and my knees were miserable. I felt like I was going to fall over. I ended up relying only on my Hokas sneakers for outside walking. I wore the Aetrex indoor and from a car to restaurant. One thing about the ankle straps I did not like is that they are fairly short and non-stretchy so they JUST FIT my ankles, and I have lovely ankles. Walking around in the heat, they would swell up a little, but with the shorter straps, there is no forgiveness. I would not buy these again. They seem well made, but did not perform for the reasons I needed."
