Aetrex's Fall/Winter 2024 Line Builds off Top-Selling, Unconventional Ballet Shoe's Momentum

New product line reimagines classic, sophisticated, on-trend silhouettes with comfort-forward, light-weight constructions.

TEANECK, N.J. (February 8, 2024)— Aetrex, Inc. (“Aetrex”), a global market leader in foot scanning technology and data-driven orthotics and comfort footwear, today announced plans to showcase its Fall/Winter 2024 line at Atlanta Shoe Market, February 17-19. The collection features three new slip-on styles built off the construction of the 2023 bestseller, the Brianna ballet flat, which is expected to double in sales growth in 2024. Additionally, the brand will debut a new, lightweight lug-sole construction, adding classic, versatile silhouettes such as a loafer and Chelsea boot to the catalog without sacrificing style for premium comfort.

New shoes inspired by the Brianna include the Liz, a slip-on smoking slipper featuring a longer vamp for more coverage and a deconstructed upper for a sock-like feel; the Joanne, a Mary Jane style with a hook and loop strap; and the Zoey weatherproof bootie with a soft, pleated upper.

“With the Brianna, we demonstrated that the ballet flat—which is typically rigid with little to no arch support or underfoot cushioning—can be exceptionally comfortable and endlessly wearable. Customers love the glove-like fit of the upper and the cushioned feel underfoot of this shoe, so it was a natural next step to extend this construction into other wearable, on-trend styles,” said Amy Egelja, VP of Footwear Design at Aetrex. “Similarly, our ultra-lightweight lug-sole construction turns classic, on-trend silhouettes that are typically known for being heavy or uncomfortable, into lightweight, all-day comfort shoes without sacrificing style.”

The lug-sole construction appears on the Collette, a versatile loafer silhouette that can easily transition from day to night; the Margot, a chic lace-up boot made with weatherproof Italian suede; and the Hannah, a classic, gore Chelsea boot with a medial side zip for easy on-off.

Aetrex also expands its line of elevated athleisure styles with retro sneakers including the Emily, a suede sneaker with a leather accent and heel support, and Courtney, a functional lace-up court shoe. The Fall collection embraces the rise in ‘quiet luxury’ through leather touches, contrasting textures and muted metallic colorways. Neutrals light to dark are emphasized throughout the line with brushed metallic colorways offering a dressy alternative. The popular Brianna gets navy and scotch colorway additions, and on-trend burgundy is added to the Beckie clog.

Leading with technology for better health and comfort, all Aetrex shoes are designed and developed based on lasts made with scientific data and learnings sourced from more than 50 million global 3D foot scans conducted on Aetrex’s foot scanners, the Albert 2 Pro and Albert 3DFit. This ensures each shoe delivers maximum comfort, support and a better overall fit. All styles include an orthotic footbed with proprietary arch support for proper body alignment.

Available August 2024, this line will also include heeled Mary Janes, casual rouched booties and oxfords. Atlanta Shoe Market attendees can stop by the Aetrex booth #1537-1543 & 1636-1642 to experience the collection. To learn more about Aetrex, please visit www.aetrex.com.
